Basmati Rice Recipes: Preparation
Pour one tablespoon of olive oil into a pan, add the sliced onion, and lightly sauté. Then add the vegan bacon and cook for 5 minutes.

Add 300 ml of water, cover, and cook over high heat until the water is absorbed. Stir occasionally.
Meanwhile, prepare the rice. Weigh it out and place it in a pot.

Pour 1¼ cups of water, half a teaspoon of salt, stir, and cook on low heat until the water is gone. Use another spoon so the rice stays white.

Pour everything onto a plate and serve. I like to keep the rice and the side dish separate. I don’t season the rice; it’s delicious as it is. I then added chili to the vegetables and pancetta.
